Who Are We?
The Advance Centre is the culmination of nearly 20 years work by the sector to meet the educational needs of Deaf and hearing impaired tertiary students.
The Tertiary Education Commission funds the Advance Centre through a contract with LIFE Unlimited Charitable Trust. LIFE Unlimited is based in Hamilton and is best known for providing services to people with disabilities, including hearing therapy for adults with hearing impairment.

Delys Magill is a qualified NZSL Interpreter with 5 years experience working in tertiary education. In the past she worked as a Teacher Aide for Kelston Deaf Education Centre. She now works as a community interpreter part time and shares the role of Service Co-Ordinator with Tania. |
